Xiropotami
On the southern side of the foot of Mount Athos (also 6 km from Ierissos), you will find a different, enchanting landscape. The beach is partly organized, with beach bars and canteens.

Develiki
On the south side, 5 km from Ierissos, the wild beauty of the area will enchant you. There you will also find the traditional tavern "Dionysos", for authentic flavors in a serene natural landscape.


Nea Roda
Just 6 km from Ierissos, they offer beaches ideal for families, couples, or solo travelers, characterized by the "Voulitsa" beach where a beach bar also operates.

Komitsa
Komitsa beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Halkidiki, with crystal-clear waters and white sand. It is located 10 km from Ierissos.


Drenia Islands
Another very beautiful and popular destination is the small islands around Ammouliani! You can reach the "Drenia" islands by using the boats that leave approximately every 30 minutes from the port of Ouranoupolis or by renting small boats from Trypiti or Xiropotami. There is an organized beach there for you to enjoy swimming!

Just 8 kilometers from Ierissos is the port of "Trypiti", the departure point for the ferries that take you to the island of Ammouliani! A small, beautiful island with fantastic beaches that is worth your visit!

Ancient Akanthos
Ierissos has a deep history. Akanthos is one of the most important ancient cities of Halkidiki, with a rich history and cultural heritage. Southeast on the hill of old Ierissos, the remains of the ancient fortification and a Roman villa are preserved. Closed excavation exhibition area
